Micropigmentation, also known as permanent makeup, is particularly useful if you want to look your best without having to deal with the physical challenges of applying makeup. Micropigmentation is a tattooing technique that is commonly used in cosmetic and plastic surgery. It entails inserting a pigment into the skin or scalp with needles in order to change its colour. Micropigmentation requires a pigment and a needle-tipped instrument to push the pigment into the skin. Iron oxide, titanium dioxide, mercuric sulphate, and cadmium sulphate are among the pigments used. To achieve the exact shade desired by the patient, the colours may need to be mixed. Organic vegetable-based pigments are also used, and they may be safer than iron oxide-based pigments. Micropigmentation is performed in an aseptic environment. An antiseptic is used to clean the procedure area. To alleviate pain during the procedure, a local anaesthetic may be applied or injected. The pigment is introduced into the skin between the upper and mid dermis using a manual or electrically powered instrument.
